Zonda Cinque

The first renderings of a special edition of the Zonda F were published in 2008 and we were able to see the Zonda Cinque 2009, made on special request for one of the most successful Pagani dealers worldwide, SPS Automotive in Hongkong. Only 5 Zonda Cinque were built for the request in Hongkong, only available through this dealer.

The Zonda Cinque is the most extreme Zonda for the street and got a lot of aerodynamic inspiration from the Zonda R, the racing-version of the Zonda. In order to produce more downforce, the Cinque features a larger front splitter, a bigger rear-wing, new air-intakes for the rear brakes, a big air-scoop over the hood and a modified underbody with a new diffuser. But not only the aerodynamic was performed, also a small power-update to 678 horsepower and for the first time ever a Zonda was delivered with a 6-speed sequential gearbox which was also available for the other Zonda´s.
To reduce as much weight as possible, Pagani developed a new composite fibre, carbon-titanium which is even more lighter than carbonfiber.
To improve the performance, new forged monoblock aluminium wheels, bolts, nuts and special titanium springs, developed by Öhlins, were mounted.
In the interieur, we can see special developed racing seats with 4-point seatbelts by Toora and carbonfiber laminated Cr-Mo roll-bars. The paddles for the sequential gearbox were placed behind the steering wheel and a adjustable traction control was mounted near the centre console.
