Zonda Roadster
The Zonda Roadster was presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2003. A open variant of the Zonda was developed since 1999 with the same torsional strength and weight of the coupe. Based on the Zonda S 7.3, it feautured a removable roof with the upper part in carbonfiber and the other part in drapery including a rear window. The roof is completly storable under the front bonnet and easily to mount in a couple of minutes.
Chassis, dashboard and luggage cover were redesigned to increase the structural strength and rollbars behind each seat were mounted to assure the high safety standards.
Also the interieur was refaced by a better attention to details and large loudspeakers between the rollbars.
The bodywork stays nearly unchanged exept of two Naca air-vents behind the front wheelhouses and now standard 19 inch aluminium rims by APP.
Most Zonda Roadster are coloured yellow and the performance figures are the same known from the coupe.
