Zonda S7.3
At the Geneva Motor Show 2002 was another Zonda presented. The Zonda S7.3, a evolution of the Zonda S7.0.
This Zonda was the third Zonda presented in 4 years and features some differences to the Zonda S7.0. One main difference is the bigger engine with now 7.3l instead of 7.0l. Another difference is the redesigned rear boot-curve which is lowered compared to the Zonda S7.0.
The rest of the bodywork remained nearly unchanged exept of the double rear-spoiler which is now no longer one piece with the engine-cover. The spoiler was redesigned and positioned further backwards and also the engine cover itself is redesigned.
Other changes were also done under the bodywork, for example another position for the oil-cooler, new designed titanium rods and also the introduction of a traction control and a ABS-system. Both were developed together with Bosch. In Addition a lifting-system was also available to simplify the driving across road bumps and car parks.
The Zonda S7.3 passed the Nordschleife in only 7.44min which is an incredible performance for a car which was never driven there before.
It was fitted with the standard 18 inch OZ rims, which could be later changed to 19 inch aluminium rims by APP.
